So, Jack was around for the 90s grunge era. I mean, he’s still an eighteen year old boy at heart, right? He totally would’ve been into bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam. …Yeah, that’s about all the basis I have.

It’d also be pretty rad if he was into some older musicians like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, but there’s no way I’m drawing Jack at Woodstock.

i ended up liking the background for this, so here it is without tooth. i’m pretty bad at backgrounds, but practice makes perfect, right? ….right?

some mixture between film!tooth and what i’ve seen of book!tooth? this turned into a “tooth sketch” to background practice. hoooow do.

I don’t know if I’ll ever finish this. It started as just wanted to make a creepy Pitch (originally I had him bald and was going to have him standing over Jack and the whole thing was less bright), but it turned into feels. again.

This is turning into one of those “the more I look at it, the more I cringe” things, so obviously it’s time to upload it while I still can. A bunch of stepping outside my safety zone here.

Roughly 7.5 hours of solid work in here from start-to-finish because I’m slow and this is huge. One day I’ll be able to draw things quickly. today is not that day

I think that while he may have had a little bit of resentment towards MiM for staying so silent all those years, Jack still spoke to him. Jack might’ve had one-sided conversations with kids and Sandy’s dreamsand, but when things got very personal, he would speak to the moon, because the moon told him the first thing he knew.
