Ragnar got Athelstan a gift.

Instead of getting sacrificed, the gang has to let one of theirs to get arrested by the police for everything they did last year. Athelstan is supposed to be the one “sacrificed” but he never threw away his Starbucks discount card and they can’t make him take the blame because the story just won’t stick. Leif takes his place but his lawyer is crazy good and he ends up with a couple of months of community service.
