“birdy the mighty” is the original 4-part ova that aired in the 90s. Decode is the 2008 reboot that was made into a full TV series.

so it’s not necessary to watch the ova? hell, i’m kind of already into the reboot right now because birdy’s a sexy badass and that blue thing is like a jarvis.
